What made me happy 41 Outings and vegetable gardens
The first week of the May vacation is over and we have been so busy. Only fun things but really busy. The week has flown by. We started in Julianatoren and went via an outdoor ride, King's Day and some DIY to messing around with the vegetable gardens. A nice week that made me happy.
Today I show you a little summary of the best moments of the past week.
What made me happy #41; Outings and vegetable gardens
A few weeks ago I received an invitation to visit the Julianatoren with the family. Last Sunday was the day, we saw sun, hail, rain, snow and more sun and had a great day. Soon you will read more.
We ended this nice day with a spontaneous dinner in a sushi restaurant. We had a delicious meal and went to bed tired but satisfied.
Monday I finally went outside again with my handsome horse. Going to the Loonse and Drunense Dunes with my sister and a friend. Lovely, it made us feel better.
I started again with a tough job. Restyling a brocante tea cabinet. I bought this cupboard from a friend years ago. There were a lot of layers of paint that had to be removed first.
Because of the rheumatism I never could finish it, this week I started anyway with good courage and it is starting to get something.
With King's Day we went to some flea markets. I always enjoy looking for nice toys for a low price then. So we bought this Lego house and it turned out to be complete too.
For the little girl I got the car and horse trailer from Baby Born. With horse. And best of all, I discovered that the horse can still walk.
I love it.
Thursday we visited Blijdorp Zoo. We were already in the park at nine thirty so the animals were very active. The polar bear was playing in the water.
We could look at it for hours.
I received a nice order from Houtspel.nl inside with a button star. Together with the little man we made some nice bracelets. I also bought the Grimm’s rainbow after all!
A happy mom.
We bought a pop up tent for over our little vegetable garden. After growing the Albert Heijn vegetable gardens the first batch could finally go outside. The second batch has to grow a little bigger but these vegetable gardens are almost ready to go outside as well.
How was your first week in May? Or are you just starting?
