Father’s Day
Next Sunday it will be Father’s Day again. Every year I am busy with it. Ok, my son is only three years old so I still had it easy. Father’s Day, however, comes back every year and I also like to make something for the grandfather’s grandfather.
Around this time I am always busy gathering ideas to make a gift for Father’s Day in a fun way.
With this I share with you what we have already made. Who knows, it might help you. The very first Father’s Day has not made the little man nothing.
We were busy at the time in our maternity period so there was no crafting yet. In 2013 it really had to be crafted. Incidentally, this is not expected by dad but secretly I think it is too much fun to do myself. That year we took the hands of the little man and he was allowed to do this with paint under Kliederen. Right ‘ Kliederen ’, because he was under it from head to toe.
With a view to motor development and discover, this was already very successful. Then I have a ’ stairs ’ stuck. If you open the hands there is then; Dad I love you soooooooooo.
A fairly simple gift with a big effect.
The following year Mama had a little less inspiration for Father’s Day. I had the little man made a drawing on a round paper. Nice scratches with pencils, he loved that around that time. Then I made a rosette of this.
Simply a larger round piece behind it, a few ribbons and one stuck on it. ‘ Dad is the best ’ on it and was ready mama. This gift also enjoyed. Dad of course had to walk all day with this rosette.
That is the thing now, because it is a bit damaged. Well, then we have evidence that daddy was happy with his Father’s Day craft.
This year we will of course also get to work. Since the grandpa ’ s and the dad also read this blog, I can’t share anything about this yet. So next week there will be crafted in the deepest secret. That is not easy because Dad works at home, so we have to work very carefully.
Of course we share the result with you!
Good luck with the possible preparations for Father’s Day! I am curious what you make.
